The verdict

Go, for a cheap, fast lunch or a slice before a night out, not a long dinner. Get a Toni pepperoni slice and a square, share a whole S.G.H.P. if you're hungry, and add the $3 cookie. It's counter service and gets busy at peak times, so expect a line. Saint-Henri has the same menu and hours if we're on that side of town.

  • From Alessia's list
  • On Tastet's list of the best pizzas in Montréal (updated June 2026)
  • Open daily on posted regular hours at Mile End and Saint-Henri (Thanksgiving Monday still to confirm)
  • Cheap and quick: slices $5.50-6.50, whole 14-inch pies $24-28
  • Recent diners keep praising the thin, crisp New York-style crust

Pizza Toni, the short list

  • Must order

    S.G.H.P. (spicy honey garlic pepperoni)

    $26

Tomato sauce, garlic oil, chili flakes, grana padano, mozzarella, fior di latte, pepperoni and basil, finished with house-made spicy honey.

Tastet's West Island review names it on the menu, and a recent diner fresh from a month of New York pizza rated it a standout. Hot honey on pepperoni is the house signature move.

On their menu: Pizza Toni (official website). 14-inch whole pie; 18-inch is $36 (website menu, Oct 2026)

  • Must order

    Toni Pepperoni slice

    $6

Tomato sauce, oregano, mozzarella and pepperoni on the thin New York-style base.

The baseline test for any New York slice shop, and the cheapest way to see what the fuss is about.

On their menu: Pizza Toni (official website). Per slice; whole pies $26 (14-inch) and $36 (18-inch)

  • Must order

    Square pepperoni slice

    $6.50

Grandma-style sheet-pan square: marinara, garlic oil, oregano, double mozzarella and pepperoni on a parmesan crust.

The other half of the house style. Order one next to a round slice and compare.

On their menu: Pizza Toni (official website). Per square slice; whole square pie $41 on the website menu ($40 when ordered online)

  • Sweet Cherry Pie

    $26

Tomato sauce, oregano, grana padano, mozzarella, goat cheese, basil and sun-dried cherry tomatoes, finished with a spicy honey swirl. The menu suggests ordering it on the sesame crust.

Several recent diners single it out (via Restoenligne). Goat cheese and hot honey make it the sweet-savoury pick.

On their menu: Pizza Toni (official website). 14-inch whole pie; 18-inch is $36

  • Vodka Pep

    $28

Vodka sauce, mozzarella, fior di latte, grana padano, oregano, chili flakes, pepperoni and spicy honey.

The richest pie on the board. Recent diners are split between loving it and finding it just okay.

On their menu: Pizza Toni (official website). 14-inch whole pie; 18-inch is $38; square version $44 on the website menu ($43 online)

  • Pep d'Ail on the sesame crust

    $26

Garlic oil, oregano, grana padano, fior di latte, mozzarella, basil, dollops of marinara and pepperoni on a sesame crust with hot honey.

Tastet's favourite thing here is the sesame crust, a nod to Montréal bagels and to Saint-Viateur Street. This pie comes on it by default.

On their menu: Pizza Toni (official website). 14-inch whole pie; 18-inch is $36

  • Chocolate chip cookie

    $3

    House-made chocolate chip cookie.

A new addition (Tastet, Oct 2026) that has already drawn praise as a rich, salty-sweet cookie. Three dollars; just get one.

On their menu: Pizza Toni (official website)

Know before you go

  • Some find it pricey for slices
  • Occasional inconsistency: a few reports of lukewarm slices or an overdone pie

Service
Mostly described as quick and friendly, with a few complaints about attitude at the counter. The owners reply to most online reviews.
Value
Slices are $5.50-6.50 and whole 14-inch pies $24-28 on the official menu. Most diners think it's worth it; a minority call it pricey for pizza.
