The verdict

A smart first stop before dinner in Old Montréal: drink something bitter and bright, split a pan con tomate and the tortilla, move on. It suits couples and small groups who like lower-proof drinks. The catch is Monday: it is closed, so it is not an option on Thanksgiving. Go Tuesday to Thursday.
