The verdict

Worth an hour if you are already in Old Montréal, especially as a rain-proof stop between the Basilica and the waterfront. Go for the chapel and the view, and add the museum only if you like history. Oct 15 is the last day of summer hours, and Thanksgiving Monday is not confirmed, so check before building the day around it.

  • Free chapel entry
  • Dates from 1771 on 1675 foundations
  • Tower views of the Old Port per Tourisme Montréal

Why maybeCheap and open on our dates by the official schedule, but Thanksgiving Monday is unconfirmed and it is a modest stop rather than a headline sight.
