The verdict

Go, and plan around the calendar: it is shut Mondays, so Thanksgiving is off and Tuesday to Thursday is your window. Order a few shared plates or commit to the tasting menu, and ask the team to steer you through the wine list, which just won a national sommelier award. It suits people who like to eat playfully and talk wine; if you want a quiet, serious dinner, this is not that.
