The verdict
JEGantic, the group behind Yoko Luna and Bord'elle, spent seven years on this one, and it shows in the room: fresco-style ceilings, a 30-foot red velvet banquette, burlwood panelling and a Stikki Peaches cherub holding court. The kitchen promises the opposite of flash, Italian classics for sharing built on Puglian tomatoes and olive oil, but there is no menu online and no independent reviews we could find, so you are booking the occasion more than a proven plate. Worth a phone call for a dressed-up Thursday; if the goal is the best pasta of the trip, start elsewhere on the list.
