The verdict

Go if you want a classic, white-tablecloth steak night in a historic stone room and are fine paying for it: steaks run $72-92 before sides, wine and tax. It reads as an occasion dinner rather than a discovery. Skip it if you want something new or cheaper, and call about Thanksgiving Monday first.
