The verdict

Go for the room first and the food second: house pasta, whole grilled branzino, a 32oz rib-eye to split. It suits a dressy dinner, not a quick one, so give it a long evening. Catch for us: it is closed Mondays, so Thanksgiving night is almost certainly out. Aim for Tue-Thu.

How much we'll spend

$$$$

Official menu PDF has no prices. Tastet shows a three-dollar-sign tier; OpenTable lists CAN$51 and over. Menu is large-format and meat/fish heavy, so tier 3 is an estimate.

Our estimate from posted prices, CAD, before tax and tip. Québec purchases carry the 5% federal GST plus the 9.975% Québec Sales Tax (QST, TVQ in French): 14.975% combined on taxable items. Tourisme Montréal: it is customary to tip restaurant servers, taxi drivers and hairdressers 15% of the bill, before taxes. Bellhops, porters and doormen generally get at least $2 per bag or service; coffee and food counters often have a tip cup by the register.
